The international fashion magazine ‘DANSK Magazine’ was founded by the two Danish creative forces, Uffe Buchard and Kim Grenaa in 2002 with a vision to create a unique platform in magazine format, from where Danish fashion and creative ideas with the typical Danish aesthetics could be promoted and Danish avantgarde fashion photography as a cultural communicator could be enjoyed side by side with international ditto.
DANSK Magazine celebrates its 20-year anniversary this year. The magazine has a world-wide distribution throughout 20 countries – primarily in fashion cities such as London, New York, Tokyo and Berlin. The 20-year anniversary is marked by the publication of a state-of-the-art coffee table book, ‘20 Years of DANSK Magazine’.
The coffee table book is a collector’s item release, with over 300 pages of iconic fashion photography from the past 20 years. The coffee table book contains stunning images with international fashion brands and some of the most influential models through time photographed by international photographers. The coffee table book is divided into a rainbow color scheme and tells the unique and personal story of the magazine with funny, exciting and touching anecdotes written by Uffe Buchard – one of magazine’s editors in chief.
